One of the best things you can do to expand your cooking horizons is to keep a Recipe Journal. Any kind of a notebook would work,
but keep in mind -- this could become a cooking treasure for you so you may want to purchase a journal that will last. Finding new recipes is a fairly easy thing to do.
You can go online and find tons of recipes.
They are in the newspaper at least a couple times a week.
There are some great magazines that have great recipes as well.
When you find a recipe you would like to make:
1. Cut it out or print it.
2. Make the recipe.
3. If you love it and plan to make it in the future, then the recipe becomes a candidate for your journal.
Only tested recipes and the ones you love gets to be a part of your journal!!!!!
One last note
You can set up your journal in sections like we have done on this website

Main Dish

Vegetables and Side Dishes

Salads

Other
This way, for meal planning purposes, you just select a recipe from each
section and there you have it -- a complete meal!!
