Graduate of Culinary Institute of America Michael has worked as an executive chef at several locations: Walt Disney, Marriot Hotels, private resorts and hospitals. His cuisine epitomizes fresh ingredients and establishes entrees that Americans do not serve very often. His desserts are made from scratch and are better than what “mom used to make”.

Since arriving in Tulsa 12 years ago, Michael has owned and operated the Backstreet Nistro in Jenks. In 2006, he opened Michael V’s Restaurant and Bar.  Michael V’s is approaching its fifth year anniversary and has become a favorite of many Tulsa diners. His coconut cream pie has become a signature dessert in the Tulsa area.
