4 Pork chops (center cut)
1 1/2 C rice
3 C chicken broth
2 Apples (cored/sliced)
2 T olive oil


Heat oil in pan and brown pork chops on both sides.  Place pork chops on plate.  Add rice and water to the pan.  Place pork chops on top of the rice mixture.  Place apples on top of the pork chops. Use salt and pepper to taste.  Bring to a boil. Once the dish is boiling, place lid on pan and reduce heat to low.  Cook for 20 minutes.  To serve-place pork chop on plate and top with apples.  Serve rice on the side.
